right this way
October 21, 2014
It all started one night at a friends birthday party. Michael and Michelle met for the first time, however, it wasn’t until the second time that a mutual friend re-introduced them, that it all began. Their eyes locked and the idea of “not being in a place for a relationship” went straight out the window…because, as Michelle says “We couldn’t resist what was happening between us.” After meeting these two and then driving out to Pheonix to do their engagement photos (click HERE if you want to see more of THAT magic!) I can TOTALLY see what she means. The way they look at each other is with so much joy, love, and a playful attitude. Trent and I made our way over to the Scottsdale area to capture their beautiful wedding at a private estate called, Palm Lake Oasis in Paradise Valley. But first, while the boys got ready at the Royal Palms, Michelle and her ladies got ready at a BEAUTIFUL house they rented close to the venue. I was in heaven with the glorious (yeah, I said glorious!) light that filled the house! Before Michelle got in her dress, she wanted to take a photo with all of their personalized shirts! Including “Mrs. Parrish”, “Mother of the Bride”, and “Mother of the Groom”. Super cute!
After she got in her dress, it was time to do a little mini-first look with her dad!
We had a few minutes to get some photos in that amazing light (and amazing bride!) AH! I love it!
I love how giggly Michelle is…so, we could only take serious photos for so long…
As he first got a look at his bride…THIS was his reaction.
Love how in awe he is! 🙂
Being that we are from Palm Springs and I am super familiar with mountains that steal sunsets…. the mountain that stands behind the venue looked all too familiar, so right after they were announced man and wife, we only had a few minutes before that sun went behind the mountain. But a few minutes were all we needed with these two!!
Right before this photo, Michael asked me, “May I dip her?!”…Yes, you may ALWAYS dip her. Especially when you guys do it that adorably.
We were able to capture some amazing colors during their first dance!
The night was filled with so many amazing toasts…
beautiful dances…
and a whole lot of fun!!
Once they left in their getaway car, Michelle’s bridesmaids wanted to surprise her with this! 10/10 for the date they were married!
Congrats to you both! Trent and I had an absolute blast being your wedding photographers and capturing everything from your engagement session to your wedding day!
Thanks to all that made this event possible!!
