Kelly and Mike Engagement, Santa Monica, CA

This past week, I went down to Santa Monica to do Kelly and Mike’s engagement photos…I met them in Tulum, Mexico doing Josh and Kelly’s destination wedding. She was part of Kelly’s bridal party (one of my favorite bridal parties EVER!) . So naturally, when Kelly asked me to do her wedding in Palm Springs next year.. I was SO excited. I went to LA to do their engagement session and had SO much fun with these two. We went to the beach where they had their first date and where he proposed…so, it’s kiiiinda special. Take a look!




We started and ended at this bridge….and to see just how cool it photographs at different times during the day was SO awesome. I always say my favorite engagement sessions are the ones that have a starting point…but we just let it happen. They were so up for it and it worked out PERFECTLY! Oh and PS. how crazy did the fencing on the bridge photograph?! That is not photoshopped at all! Just super funky 🙂

These might be my favorite. We caught such an awesome time during the day at a part of the beach where nobody was…so they just ran around having fun. I just loveeeee how they turned out!

Thought this was the best way to end with these two!!! Cannot wait to shoot their wedding at the awesome Cree Estate next year!
